Museum of Vysočina Třebíč

MUSEUM OF THE 21ST CENTURY

It is housed in a former Wallenstein castle, which was rebuilt in the 16th century from an originally Benedictine monastery, located in the northwestern part of the city above the left bank of the Jihlava River. The museum is a regional institution dealing with the documentation of natural and historical conditions in southwestern Moravia, especially in the vicinity of Třebíč, Moravské Budějovice, Náměšť nad Oslavou and Jemnice.
